Hacking Multiplayer in Tales of Innocence on DS-X

Tried it several times but after it finds the other player it just creates a black screen on one(forcing a reboot) and the other ds has something about 'ds off' (forcing you back to the title screen) and the connection is dropped.

Has anyone gotten it to work on this?

i think i read where someone with an R4 tried it and it worked.

any known fix for this issue?

also unlike MOST

we still have to press START or smash A rapidly to get past the opening scene for it not to freeze

There are many games which dont work in multiplayer on ds-x, mario party, micro machines...
