There's been plenty of MUGEN topics before. Just a word of warning though, no talking about distributing the files or anything among that here, the MUGEN engine is technically illegal to distribute.

Gai, the engine isnt illegal, the files for the engine are.

M.U.G.E.N on Wiki...any current distribution of M.U.G.E.N has not been authorized by Elecbyte and is technically illegal...
It doesn't hurt to be on the safe side, even if most likely no action would ever be taken.

Thats like saying you cant link to any youtube videos because they have been used without the copyright holders permission.

I've tried on numerous occasions to find stages and characters, but never had much luck. Could you help me somehow? KFM is not a good fighter!

I have 4 different MUGEN games.

My nephew has customized the hell out of the best of them. One day, I need to get the one he customized from him.

My favorite one is....er....I forget the name, but it has 190 fighters and opened with Metallica's Master of Puppets music. My nephew got rid of the lame simple sissy girl fighters in it and replaced them with nice manly complex fighters instead.

They really need a fighter like this on the DS. Multitudes of over-the-top fighters in one game is a must nowadays.

Sounds like Guilty Gear with real music!

Licensing would make this a nightmare, but how cool would it be to have a fighting game that could have just about any character (of course, that would make it really hard to balance, if that was even possible)... If this was a PC/Wii/PS3/Xbox360 game, couldn't that actually be implemented with micropayments? Pay 50cents for a new character?

"DUDE I JUST DROPPED 50 BUCKS TO ADD THE CAST OF GILLIGAN'S ISLAND, 24, STARGATE SG-1, AND SIX DIFFERENT VERSIONS OF CHUCK NORRIS, INCLUDING THE ONE WITH HIM DRESSED LIKE A PINK NINJA"..

Somehow I can see it in my mind..
