Hacking MPlayer CE won't load DVD's?

Solution
In order for MPlayer CE to be able to play a DVD, you need to have sIOS202 installed. Download the attached file and install IOS202 using 57 or 60 as a base. I believe MPlayer CE might have added support for IOS58, but I have not tested this myself.

WiiMC is another option, but again, you need to have IOS58 installed.

If your Wii is new, you cannot play DVDs on it. Period. If you have been able to play DVD movies or DVD backups in the past, then it should work.
