Mplayer CE not detecting files on my DVD-R's

    nevermind. i just had to reinstall dvdx onto IOS 249 and now it works. mods, please close this topic

    again, why are you using IOS249 ?

    why not use it? if i dont use it, mplayer wont show files in my dvd-r's

    it's best to use as "default" which is usually IOS36 or advanced IOS202 if you want usb2 with mplayer

    i dont use usb for mplayer. i dont see the IOS202 in the advanced section of the dvdx installation.

    ohright, to use ios202 you would need to install the cIOS from the mplayer google code.

    i see. but i dont think i need the ios202 since i dont use usb for mplayer BUT, do i need the ios202 if i decide to use usb loader to load wii games off of usb's?

    i might buy a portable usb hard drive like a 500gb or something and store wii games on it...

    no, ios202 is purely homebrew.
    IOS222 from waninkoko etc is for usb>sdhc wii games.

    if you want usb2.0 speed in certain apps like mplayerce/freespace other purely homebrew.
