ROM Hack Question Moving Dark Souls Remastered Save from PC to Switch?

So I have DS Remastered on PC already and have made a lot of progress I don't want to lose.

I tried using Checkpoint to restore my .sl2 file from my PC but this makes the game crash on the title screen and forces me to hold down the power button to turn off my switch.

Is there any way to convert a Dark Souls PC save into a switch save?

I'd like to push this for the same reason.
Want to play this on my switch, but have made quite some progress on PC before.

Maybe someone has achieved this in the years since that post was made?

It's not a guarantee it can be done at all. Depends on the formatting of the save, and sometimes the same game can usually totally different formats for different systems.
