Okay, I know this probably sounds a bit weird at first, but hear me out.
GitHub's Issues tab handles threads like a checklist. Threads that are marked as resolved are hidden away from view (though still accessible), so you can easily keep track of which suggestions have been implemented or rejected. The way this subforum works on-site lets older threads get buried, never to be seen again, even if they contained some good suggestions and were just forgotten about. I, myself have multiple threads in here that just stopped getting replies after a while, but the suggestions never got implemented, nor properly turned down.

Alternatively, you could probably implement something similar on-site, but that would require more work.

what is the bottom line - I think the bottom line is you want these issues solved, right?
and you think by organizing things better we will get them solved faster?

It's not what you think. There are projects in the works that supersede the issues you raised. We just don't want to talk about them too much because we like to keep a bit of secret and surprise our members with new cool stuff. :)

You're right. There are matters more important than member suggestions; I'm just missing feedback is all. People submitting suggestions and not getting replies don't know whether their suggestions are being considered, worked on, or were forgotten about.
Also, I was wrong to have only linked my own threads. I didn't intend to make it look like I was complaining about my suggestions getting ignored. I intended to write ‘I doubt I'm the only one,’ but forgot.
