Homebrew Move Emunand Error

Im following this guide after Downgrading my 3ds to 9.2 https://github.com/Plailect/Guide/wiki

and i followed the whole guide perfectly up until the Move Emunand part, as i get stuck on this part

1. Open Hourglass9 from arm9loaderhax by holding (Start) on boot
2. Go to "EmuNAND Backup/Restore", then select the "EmuNAND Backup" option to backup your EmuNAND to NAND_emu.bin

when i try to select the Emuland Backup option it tells me my SD card is not formatted for Emunand, idk what im doing wrong and idk how to fix this, any help would be appreciated

First question I have is do you have an EmuNAND? It might seem silly but you never know.

I believe so, im new to the 3ds scene but ill give you as much info as i can.

all i know is that the 3ds will not turn on unless the sd card was in it (so i assume the the 3ds is Using the Emunand because of this) , where could i find the nand at in the SD "Brain a bit fried ATM'

Are you using menuhax to boot into EmuNAND? If you're not and you're just installing A9LH then you don't backup EmuNAND as it isn't there and follow the regular guide.

no im not using menuhax

so does that mean i skip this step from Part 3?

If, before following this guide, you already had an EmuNAND setup and would like to move the contents of your previous EmuNAND to your new SysNAND CFW, now is the time to follow Move EmuNAND.

i followed this exactly word by word, is this what you mean by booting into Emunand via Menuhax?

No, you don't need to worry about EmuNAND at all. Just follow the guide.
