Thanks a lot! also I'll have to upgrade the firmware to use motionplus yeah, if my Wii is modchipped, and I only want to play backups, then it shouldnt matter if i upgrade right?

MotionPlus does not require an update, however, the games might. Best choice is to brickblock them and install the required IOS by other means, maybe even patched. Personally, I have used CIOSCorp IOS hacks for IOS versions above 50, which does not share the risk of a full CIOSCorp installation as long as I stay on 3.2. I also use a modchip, one of them old DMS/D2A/D2B kind.

Yep thats what I meant, so if i install the required IOSes I wont ever have to update my Wii past the version it is atm? Thanks, i'll look into it.

    Least my experience has gotten better than over a decade ago. My iron would constantly bump into components and break them.
