Hi i have create this because i need help.
I need a new Motherboard for my New 3DS XL in version EUR, but i cant find one.
So i need to now if another version like US or JAP will work with my EUR 3ds?

Yes it will work but your 3DS will be another region
You can change region with CFW but I'm not sure if it's perfect

As long it is the same model and the motherboard is in working state, it should work.

All regions is compatible with the connecting hardware if u change region u will have no online or eshop

You can have eshop access if you do a system transfer to another console before changing the region.
That will not only wipe the 3DS locally but also reset that device's account information on Nintendo's servers.

Thanks for your responding, i was not sure. i know i can change my region and my serial number so i will do that because it's a 3ds zelda majora mask and i want to download my game again.

You could only get your game back legitimately if you could make a system transfer. If you're swapping the mainboard, I suppose your old board is dead, so you can't do that.

Nope, the game's ticket is linked to the DeviceID, which is stored in the OTP and you can't change that.
