Mother 1 version 1.01 bug at the cave or am i doing something wrong?

Hallo everybody,
so i am currently playing mother 1 via emulator and i am curious why i can't enter magicant? when i use psi telepathy the following message shows up: Ninten heard a voice... "Where is the god's tail?" And after that i am not ported to magicant... i had the german translation patch before and it worked flawlessly.
now is there a way to remove this bug.
