Did Mother 1+2 (aka Earthbound) ever get released in English on the GBA?

mother 1 was supposedly like 90% translated, mother 2 was not but you can of course play the snes version.

    Good guess!

I wouldn't put too much weight into this but about a month ago in the rumors section of EGM they did say that there would be a Mother compilation released in English o the DS. I personally haven't heard a thing on that front since then but I'm still holding out hope!

ok. Mother 1+2 rom, mother 1 was 90% translated. So you can play mother 1, in english, on your gba. I don't know whether or not Earthbound can be run on a DS SNES emulator.

I wish the dude would have started translating Mother 2 first, because it is already easy to play the Mother 1/Earthbound 0 NES rom on GBA. SNES emulation on GBA or DS cannot handle Earthbound/Mother 2 yet :'(

But he had been, and I guess still is having problems with variable width fonts in the games.

Ain't that the truth - I could have really done with some mobile Earthbound right about now...

Anyone got any good RPG recommendations that don't have random battles?
