Hacking mother 1+2 in ezflash IV not saving---

I was really excited to play mother 1 finally in a language I can actually understand, thanks to the fan translation patch. The game works like a charm in the EZ FLASH IV.. until I need to save
I tested saving, then loading some other rom that I know saves ok, saving and then loading mother 1 again as I do with every obscure rom I find out there before I start playing seriously.
it usually is related to save type in EZ CLIENT software. but I don't know in this case how to make it to save and load through ez flash.
Have any of you played this game in this flashcart with normal save function?

Nevermind, it was so stupid not to notice that the save file was corrupted in the save folder (had a weird name). Probably because I've got an old 2006 model ez flash which needs a blank save file first to overwrite it since it can't create one by itself.
