there are two ways around it, but they're kinda a pita. one: you can make multiple profiles each with their own barista. each profile will have that 292 game limit. another option is system config tool. there is no limit with it, but it's just a long list of games, so it's not as aesthetically pleasing.

btw, there's an app (never used it) that can sort content alphabetically, and I'm pretty sure it even works in folders in case you try a third option: multiple hdds/flash drives. it was still in experimental stage from what I remember, but a lot of people claimed it worked for them. one might compare the wii u to the vita in that it's one hell of an emulation station, and removing the hdd/sd card forces a rebuild of the database. that's why it doesn't save the games. it's possible to have the same page/position for a game on the vita, but either only one (not sure how it's determined) shows up or neither shows up. the wii u probably has something like that in the barista file, which I think is its indexer.

I play the wii u every night before I go to bed. it does have some great games, even more so if you hack the system. just like the vita, it's not that great by itself unless you hack the machine. then, it's awesome.

look up aqua's paste bin iirc to find system config tool. you want the one that's for sysnand. from what I understand, the wrong one won't brick the system, but you will be unable to uninstall it.

100% with you on that one I overkilled the Vita with 256 sd card... I felt the same with the 3DS.. I really had no intention of buying one as I thought the DS was awful... But after getting one and hacking it I thought it was great I liked the 3D.. When before owning one all I heard is how it's awful hurts your eyes ect.. But on my N3DS I thought 3D games was pretty amazing yeah Zelda OTT I'm looking at you... & I still watch all the Moflex Movies I've collected still to this day.. On dead days at work... Again 256 sd but really it's 200 gigs of films the rest games...

As for my WIIU I'd still love a Dark theme... & I've seriously grown to hate that menu music with a passion.... There is a dark theme but it's not permanent.. But does look better

I think there may be a way to get it permanent (sorta) if you replace one of the options in cbhc while using cbhc. however, afaik, it doesn't work with usa only pal atm. I tried it on my system, and the system made a high-pitched noise, and I had to hard reset. apparently, that's what happens on a usa system.

Well shit I'm glad I didn't actually try it as mine is a USA system and I was really tempted I even posted it here at the time... Because it wasn't permanent I did not bother... I figured there would be a update to fix that.. Which still hasn't happened.... But I still hold some hope for it
