Okay. I'm starting to think that it's legit, but broke.. Probably broke it trying to get it out of the damn plastic case it came in. -.- I'm going back to running emuNAND from my SD card now...
did it pass all the checks?
and did you follow my instructions word for word?
if yes trying using a different .3ds rom one last time and if it does not pop up while in emunand the micorsd card might be fake or the gateway card is DOA you can check if the microsd card is real by using h2testw
or even worse maybe your select button is broken

Because now I'm not having problems selecting options in the menu, but it's not recognizing the cart...

clearly his card is DOA just do an RMA for the poor guy as its failing FPGA tests.

Okay, I use the browser to get to the Gateway menu. With my red card inserted, I hit A on 'Boot Gateway Mode' and it says "Please insert Gateway Cartridge". It's failing every one of the diagnostic tests, and I haven't gotten it to launch into Gateway mode whatsoever.

Oh, and I've downgraded before to 4.X and ran the blue cartridge and everything worked fine... Up until I tried to insert the Red card.
If all tests are failing, then the card is probably broken. Ask for replacement or refund!
