    For those who are fans of Mortal Kombat, and haven't moved onto the current gen of gaming, you'll be disappointed to hear that after months of delays, Warner Bros. Interactive has cancelled the last gen port of Mortal Kombat X.

    Below is the comment made by an admin on the WB Games forum:

    It seems High Voltage Software was not able to make the game work as they intended, despite an iOS port of the game existing.

    They probably stopped development months ago and moved on to thier next fighter.

    We were not able to get the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions to the quality expected of a Mortal Kombat game and are very sorry for not being able to deliver the products as originally planned.

    funny, never stopped WB releasing a game before, lol

    (Sigh) Thank goodness we have MGSVTPP in replacement, that seems like the last good serious PS3 game for us of this year...
