Morning Timer v1.2
Clock App for the DS
[2159]MorningTimerv12.png

Infantile Paralysiser has recently updated his Clock application for the DS, Morning Timer v1.2.
This update includes more timer settings, optimized FAT driver, and the simple check disk is faster.

The play time can have been change by 'More settings of the timer settings'.
The FAT driver was optimized. The simple check disk was more fast.

Nice Idea but unless you're able to put the volume up 400% like in Moonshell, its pointless since the DS isn't loud enough by itself to wake up a heavy sleeper.

I take naps in the back of my car, so I am allready sleeping lightly.
That and I turn the Vol on max (you can turn it up to ~400% with this program)
and select a good song.
I use Ichirin no Hana, has a good loud opening.
Wakes me up anyways, but i am kinda of a light sleeper.

QUOTEWhat does this provide over the in-built DS alarm clock?

It counts down instead of going off at a set time.
Also, you can select which sound goes off.
Can be used for anything that requires a timer ticking down.

I think you are mistaking this with Cooking Timer, that is the one that counts down. This however goes of at a set time, you can have a list of them. It has tones of more features than the one built into the DS, you are supposed to put your DS unclosed, it works as a clock, and the alarm volume starts out softly and it gets louder until you disable it, and it can get very very loud if you have the volume max at 200%. One thing that is worth mentioning is it supports Rumble packs, the one in "3 in 1 expansion" is supported, now if the speakers aren't loud enough, the rumble certainly comes in handy..
