This game is a day one purchase if it comes out in Europe!

The gameplay for both seems a bit simple, almost... elementary, my dear GBAtemp.

Dammit, I bet you every time they dip down, it goes into the "contradicting puzzles."
I really want to know what that line meant in the original trailer. "This time the puzzles have contradictions."

I think we can tell from the tgs trailer when the girl pushes Luke and trip on Phoenix. I think this is what happens. Phoenix is in court and hears a testimony from a witness. The witness explains what happened and Phoenix need to solve the puzzle. Then Phoenix realize it isn't possible and thus the contradiction which we can use to object the testimony.

I still don't understand. Do you choose between the Phoenix story and the Layton story, or do you take turns or something?

You'll probably take turns, since the plot is about them going against each other, then teaming up for a bigger cause.

So, does this still have the possibility of being localized?

I'd like to think so :) Until Level 5 AND Capcom both announce that they will never EVER localise it, I'll continue to believe that. Heck, even if they both declare that they won't do it, I'd still cling onto hope. LOL

The question is: Will they release some awesome limited edition (3DS) with this.... :3

Gameplay alternates between trials and puzzle solving segments

Imagine a Phoenix Wright game where the Investigation portions are replaced with a Layton game. That's how it's gone down in the demos and footage so far.
Layton does not solve puzzles in court though, not from the two trials we've seen recorded.
