Hacking more dstt freezing probs

guys, done the usual full reformat etc but still got these damn things freezing.

got 4 dstt for friends with 2gb kingston jp memory.

done all the usual, latest firmware etc, reformat and still freezing !

any help appreciated !

Are all your .nds files on the root of your microSD? If so, put them in a "games" folder. There is a limit to the number of files that can be at the root.

Did you leave some empty room on your microSD for save files? If not, delete a game or two.

that seems to have worked for now mate. whats the score with the games folder though, how does that make a difference ?? there was room left on the card for save files 1.71 of 1.87 used on card..

ive used the r4 and ezflash before and never had to do this. hopefully it stays working...

ps. i take it the .sav files should be in the games folder also ?

The FAT16 filesystem limits the number of files that can be at the root of the microSD card. It's not the DSTT's fault. Perhaps your card was formatted as FAT32 with the R4?

Yes, the .sav file for a game goes in the same folder as the game.

cheers mate.. actually thought i had bad sd's or dstt cards for a bit there..
