Put simply 90% of the time I'll switch from an MP3 or DPG after listening to a MID or OGG it'll freeze up, if I quit the song before playing another it still freezes 50% of time. Using version 1.71+1 are there updated plugins somewhere?

Try fresh files. Or look for an update to Moonshell. Don't really know what the problem is though.

If it still doesnèt work, try converting the files into MP3.

And also I have checked MoonBookès website. No new updates on moonshell.

I thought he was using MP3. That might be the problem. It freezes but rarely.

he was? IMO it was a very complicated description XP so i thought he was using MP3. If the problem still happens try and use another program on your computer that plays MP3. It might be the music that's the problem if not, then maybe the moonshell doesn't like you XP

and also, what flashcart are you using?

I am using a Supercard indeed. The problem happens when the next song after a MID or OGG is MP3. When it finishes playing the ogg/mid and moves on to the mp3 it freezes. This never happens when it's just mp3 files. I checked them they're okay.

Try placing all the same type files in 1 folder.
Ex. a folder for ALL MP3, another folder for ALL OGG, etc.

So from what you're saying, this doesn't happen to you guys right? How many of you play other audio media than just mp3 on your moonshells?

I play MP3/DPG files. Can anyone link me to a DSM converter because I've heard that has way better quality but it's file size is ENORMOUS.

I play mp3 and dpg too and never had problems. It's when I added midi and ogg that trouble started.

    Delete Midi & Ogg files.

I've done it before, and yes it does crash, I have no idea if there is a known fix for it or not, I ended up moving it into another folder (since I only had one track that was .ogg).

I keep all my MIDI files in a separate folder so I don't really have this issue, though I do vaguely remember having the issue in the first place. I think it also happens when switching from an mp3 to an NSF file or something like that.

Again, I just moved all my MIDI files to get rid of the issue, leaving all my MP3 files in the same folder. I don't use OGG so I haven't had any issues with that.

That should fix the problem. [IMG]
My setup is make a folder in the root named Media and make sub-folders inside of that with the name of the type of file (or Music, Video)

I just made a folder with all my Music called " Music " xD

Well this sometimes happens to me actually. When I was watching FF - VII Advent Children on my DS using moonshl on the SuperCard DS One v3, it would buffer a lot. Like the sound would go but the video it self would freeze for like a second or few.
