I think if you will drain it to the end every time it should last 1000 cycles.

7 hours is a good amount of time for any battery when you think most portable mp3 players batterys only last about 8 hours of music.

Yes, of course, games don't use as many resources that videos need. Most NDS's usually clock around 5 and a half to 6 hours on looped videos. You're actually pretty lucky. Games should last... I dunno, 15~+ hours? Depends on how much you've used your DS of course.

Side note: Stop adding z's to everything, it sounds like a tacky Ubisoft game suffix.

If worried about battery life, just grab one of those double capacity 2000mAh batteries they have on dealextreme.

Sleep mode on R4 sucks power. Mine's almost dead. Just only about 3-4 hours on games. Need to get either a new DS or battery soon. [IMG]

They offer the same capacity, I've tested it.

Wi-fi drains the battery very quickly
Headphones use less power than the built in speaker
If you have it on minimum brightness, it might give you an hour or two more

Because it's a lithium battery, it will lose about 1% of it's charge each day.

If that's true, then it's logical to say that after 100 days, the battery will completely die?

no. 1% of the current charge, not of the maximum charge. Exponential decline, not linear. It will never get completely empty.
