Okay, so, I got an NDSL for my birthday about a month ago, and I was also given "R4i Revolution" for it.
I downloaded Moonshell 1.71 for it, because the version given was even older, and after trying and failing twice, set it all up as told on numerous tutorials.

It still doesn't work.

When I turn on my DS, it comes up with the "Games" "Multimedia" "Config" menu. When you click on the "Multimedia" tab, this screen appears;

The blue screen says;
boot MoonShell

can not found moonshl folder.

The Black screen says;
An error was detected while trying to access the disc or a file. Please confirm the followings:

Did the setup end normally?
Is the "/Moonshl" folder moved or deleted?
Have you enabled the resume function with a media that is not supported?
Do you have enough free space on your media?
Please re-romat the media and try again.
Please try with different media from another manufacturer.

I have NO idea how to fix it, being a complete newbie at NDS coding and shizz, and I can't find anything online, which is why I turned to you guys

Anyone who can help?

:facepalm: The solution is on the blue screen and in a readme if there is one.

There's no readme, and I have no /moonshl folder to put into the root, so..

QUOTE(Da-Bomb1 @ Aug 9 2009, 01:52 AM) Try using moonshell 2...it's better in basically every way.

Tried that, it wouldn't even load a page like the one shown.

Check this site by moonlight: http://home.att.ne.jp/blue/moonlight/
Download the Moonshell 2.05.exe, Extract it..
Afterwards, put moonshl2 folder on the root of your card..
then put also moonshl2.nds to the root of your card and rename it _DS_MSHL.nds
Turn on your DS select the "Media" button on the middle of the MAIN MENU..
That should work..

    the L hdmi adapters work great on my tv and receiver. so much less stress on the ports using them than regular cables. in that instance anyway.

  • RedColoredStars @ RedColoredStars:
    i dont know why tv manufactures put the hdmi ports in dumb locations so the cables have to stick out, and then down, putting strain on the ports. Instead of having the ports along the bottom edge of the tv facing downwards.
