I also follow him on Twitter. Probably is not so simle as we thoughtI found the modder's Twitter where he seems to provide updates, looks like it's not priority for him. Might not even get done

Not when you work a demanding job and have to grind HR for Valstrax armour again :-PDamn.... It may just be easier to start over and build back up.
Thankfully Rise has the shortest and fastest campaign of all the games so far (at least in my opinion) but damnit that is annoying that there isn't a push to make the save converter.
Capcom should have made it possible themselves. So frustrating
Switch save file or Steam?.. hey man can you please upload your save file? Im testing something with Xsave hoping it would work ..
I'll share you my save file. I saw that are very similar to the Steam save files, but I don't know if there is any small difference, because are hex-crypted.For Switch mate..

@jaichikun025 can you contact him and then share his notes here?I bit the bullet and started over on PC, still keen to hear how this goes though.
@jaichikun025 AsteriskAmpersand mentioned on Twitter as a comment on one of his tweets that he is willing to share his notes with anyone looking to continue the work on a save converter
Do you know if on PC there is a way to manually add all the items that you've unlocked in the Switch version?IIRC Monster Hunter games encrypt their save files independently from the OS. Unless someone decides to figure out the encryption scheme this save transfer will never be possible.
