Well what you do is first add your friend in your friend list...and then either create a party and wait for people to come or join a party

yes or you can meeting random people..but once you meet them if you like that person than you send a friend request, and from their a friendship will form.
So yes, you play with random people but soon you will add people to your friends list.

First you have to do one or a few more quests offline then next time you start up you will have the option to play in the village (offline) or in the city (online) and I have to say the online of this game is pretty amazing compared to others.

You don't level up. It's a game of equipment. Play singleplayer first, MHTri actually has somewhat of a tutorial compared to the previous games.

I was playing this yesterday myself and I pretty surprised at how many people are playing (in comparison to dead games like Goldeneye 007

).

I suggest you get a better TV or get your eyes checked. ( but I agree the font is a bit small...)

its a good game but i dont think its worth buying a new tv for!! lol

I completely agree!
The game is good but, I still got it on a budget price ( 11euro's ).
It's just one of those games you either love or hate...I myself have mixed feelings about this game...but I just couldnt pass on such a bargain.'
There is a certain kind of quality to it...

Definitely not worth buying a new tv.
I have a Samsung 32" with component cables wich makes the extremely small font somewhat bearable...but still I wish it would be bigger.
Especially when I'm a little tired

I have just started playing this, have done three off-line quests, and just took a glimpse into multiplayer.
Seems like a fun game, but having a lot to do with my university studies right now, it will have to wait until next week. But I look forward to enter the world of Monster Hunter!

Is there any DLC availiable? Do capcom add new quests or items?
