"Boss" monsters, for lack of a better word, always take forever to kill. You just need to keep plugging away. They have weak points which take considerably much more damage, though.

How can you find out the weak point?

You'll just have to ask people that have found out. I know that Jagiinos' weak point is his skull. Hit it enough and he'll get dazed, also does more dmg I think.

Typical. Demo is unique to a store that doesn't exist anywhere on this continent. FAIL.

the demo that has been released is for u.s. systems only right now. as the poster above mentioned, it is sponsored by gamestop. if you pre-order the game from their chain, you get a copy of the demo (while supplies last).

Preorder? The demo is free. It seems the higher ups didnt properly inform the associates of the proper procedures (perhaps intentionally), but I assure you the demo does not require a preorder or any other commitment on your part. Just ask for it, and if they try to get you to preorder, kindly remind them that its free as stated by Capcom themselves.

Speaking of which, the Wii wants me to Update before I can play the demo. Is it safe to do so?

If he's not mod'd, there's nothing to worry about. if he is softmod'd he should just boot the damn thing with a backup launcher and avoid the update.

Weird that this game isn't listed in Wii Releases (at least as XXXX game).

Kay. So i've just recently learned of this game's existence and the demo is pretty awesome. I'm hoping it could turn into something similar to a PSO experience for the wii. Which would be all kinds of brilliant.

So y'all have to clear something up for me cause wikipedia and google aren't helping me out here at all. The game is going to be free of charge to play online when it comes out over here, right? Does that mean it's not going to have servers like in japan and have to use crappy friend codes? I'm guessing the fact that we're not paying for online play means we have to missing something, amiright?

Contrary to bad Gamestop advertisements and employees, the MH3 demos are FREE. Meaning you don't have to do ANYTHING to get them, you can just go into a store to pick one up (hell I've seen people take more than one), if they're forcing a preorder from you, they're disobeying Capcom.

free. And no, same deal, plus we get voice chat. I dont think they do iirc. The difference is the jappos love some monster hunter, where as it's not as big in the west. They know they couldnt get away with a monthly fee.

Not everyone has a modded Wii. And since the demo is limited its a collectors item.

I can't get the demo to work on my PAL Wii. I get a blackscreen after the Capcom-logo everytime. [IMG]
