The Guitar Hero / Rockband comment I left.... Was a joke. It's dead now, Activision is a terrible company anymore. COD was a great series. The first 2 maybe 3 Guitar hero games were fun.

Then, I thought the Kinect wasn't anything new really... it's the Playstation Eye (Correct the name if anyone knows it) with a few extra features. We saw these back on the PS2 and they died off VERY quickly.

Mario RPGs...Meh. I've seen gameplay footage of them and I'm not impressed. '64 games were never all that big for me. (if I didn't say it on the podcast, I'll say it here - I missed out on the entire generation - I didn't know that there were 3D games until mid-way through the PS2).

I figured you were joking about the rhythm games, but didn't compute it while I was reading your message. Hehe :3

Kinect, while not entirely new, is still pretty cool. That's all I have to say about it :3

I have yet to try it... No one I know has even been curious enough to try the thing. If anything "AMAZING" comes out I might look. But I mainly spend time in RPGs, and I don't see RPGs and Kinect mixing well...

Speaking of RPGs tho. Do you care for the Castlevania series???

Well... I gotta say, Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow is one of the greatest games that could ever grace the screen of your DS
If I had the spare cash I would send you a copy lol.

I think the thing that I don't like about my idea of the series is that it's constantly grouped with metroid.

Which, I believe, means I'm constantly lost with no idea what to do. For hours.

Lol well tell ya what, I'm assuming you can *cough* find a copy fairly cheap....
If you get stuck I'll help you out, only played through it.... 6 times now I think

The metroid thing isn't quite what you expect, (I think O.o) you do have to get certain abilities to move on to other areas, but this extends your play time by quite a bit.
If you play an old castlevania you can see how big of a difference it makes..

I'd suggest you try Symphony of the Night (Cliche maybe, but good)
Or the Aria/Dawn of Sorrow games.
