Hacking Modify Problems

OK back in. But a the 2b step dont see these options

2b) Back in the TBR menu, change the IOS to IOS15 and press A (NOT B).
◦Now go in the IOS36 menu.
◦Leave the top option to 36 and change all other things to yes.
◦Once you did this, go to Install patched IOS.
◦It will again ask where to load the IOS from, so say Download IOS from NUS.

2c) Once thats done as well, go back to the TBR menu and choose IOS36 (if its not set to that).
◦Press A to go to the next screen.
◦This time, choose Restore IOS15.
◦If it asks you where to load the IOS from, you should know what to do by now.

Install latest but follow bellow guide:

*Select IOS36, downgrade IOS15.
*Select IOS15, go to the IOS36 menu, install patched IOS36 (trucha + identify) to IOS36.
*Select IOS36, restore IOS15

When I first go into Dop what IOS should be selected? I get IOS:60 Install an IOS that acccepts fakesigning. But I dont get anything next in the menu

Done. But I still dont see what the rest of the guide says. EVEN the one you showed. Steps are missing or something. When I do the first step the next one doesnt match what I see. I have tried a couple of times and still no luck, with different settings. he Wii still works and I can access all progs but still have not not completely updated. Stuck after 2nd step because I dont see what the guide shows.

Ok Got this part all done. Continue the other guide? And start AFTER Trucha? And How do I KNOW everything went as it should have? LOL

One more thing. The next part of the guide goes over loading CIOSs. When in the WAD manager do I select IOS36? The guide just says to load certaing CIOSs.

did you delete the stubb IOS's??

you use 36 for wad manager to install the wads

Yes I deleted them. There were about 4 or 5 to delete. I still want to know if there is anyway I can find out if what I have done so far has been done right. I did have some errors loading from the SD card but not any issues when I changed to NUS. I just want to be sure LOL

Well I am new to this and have run into a problem. Reading the pdate and modify sticky, I got the firmware updated to 4.2 but when I try to go to the SD card for the modify section it locks up.

You was trying to load thr bannerbomb hack from the settings / channel screen instead of trying to load it from the SD card on the front screen probably. Anyway do as the others have said =)

Run neogamma (make sure you have cios249-rev14) and if it works it is all good.

Tried to do the last step in the guide (Run Preloader) It installed but I get the error that no hack.ini could be found on FAT or NAND when I boot. I have the hack.ini on the SD card any help?

I'm following xzxero's guide and have run into a problem.

I get to Restoring the Trucha Bug
Run DOP-IOS MOD v10

After I load DOP-IOS MOD v10, my screen just goes black.

Any ideas why?
