ROM Hack Question Modding ARC files on Zelda: Link's Awakening

Hello all,

I'm creating a mod for Yuzu that requires to edit textures within an ARC file in Link's Awakening. I've tried with Karameru, which seems to read and write them, but as soon as I write an ARC file the game rejects the file. Not even editing the files within, just saving the ARC file, let alone substituting the files.

I've seen some people have made mods for Link's Awakening with modded ARC files, so I guess there's a possibility. What software do they use?

Found a potential solution using Switch Toolbox.

I'm still struggling editing DDS files though...
