More involved multiplayer.
Sounds good to me.
I think nintendo is making their games now for casual gamers rather than hardcore ones (except for a few ones), that's a shame... I guess they'll finally release a game with every level unlocked so people can play whatever level they want without caring for the story or the path of the game.
Super Guide is a worthless tool, why he insists on adding it to everything nowadays is beyond me. It doesn't hurt the gameplay by any means, but it's just worthless. Watching some pro do a level you can't and then asking the player if they can beat the level doesn't do anything.
But hey, more stars and more content = more fun.
I guess the 240 is divided, 120 for Mario and 120 for Luigi, but I hope it's not so, and if it is so, then have Luigi get other stars then Mairo.
how is it more casual when the game is more difficult?
Actually, you can skip the level if you use Super Guide. But I'm unsure how it'd work with the Star system (do you get the star along with a reminder that you didn't complete the level yourself, or do you have to eventually go back and get it).
Only 70 stars needed to beat the game? That's way too few. Make it like 150 or something.
I actually like the hub, with finding secrets and even reaching the worlds (only played Mario 64, and a little Galaxy).
240 sounds awesome I hope that at least it will be challenging.
Oh sounds good... Admittedly I grew a bit bored of collecting all the stars in the first game? I don't know why? I have a feeling 100 stars will be obtained by redoing certain stars under different conditions though... If anyone understands what I mean? Probably not lol. Or it's probably the luigi thing someone mentioned.
I like the hub also? I think it's just fun to walk around and explore.
Probably time challenges or reversed world (I really hope not because that is cheap...)
Wow, 240 stars? That a hell of a lot of content.
It's probably just 120, just 120 for Mario and 120 for Luigi. And I'm rather sure the stars for each character are the same, they just have different pros and cons (Luigi is slippery in movement but jumps higher, Mario is more precise in movement but doesn't jump as high). Although I'd love having 240 stars per character. That'd be awesome.
I agree. Super Mario Galaxy claims to have 242, but it's just the same 121 stars among both Mario & Luigi. I'm assuming the same thing here.
I'd love to be proven wrong though.
luigi hasn't even been mentioned this time around i don't think his even in it. so 240 stars fuck that's a lot of secret levels!
IIRC he wasn't mentioned for Galaxy until people got him.
So this makes it even more true that Nintendo are making less fun things.
240 stars is neat, makes for a much longer gameplay time
