Using Kabuto_Kun's harder method to find resolution hacks, I came across a hack for Miracle Girls Festival to bump the resolution from 720x408 to 960x544, affecting the PVs, songs, and part of the main menu

Framerate Test for 408p/544p, mostly on the short versions of the songs on extreme difficulty, but I did try out Mashiro World and Innocent Blue's Full versions because of how well they performed at 544p on default clock speeds.

408p/Default- Holds 30FPS perfectly (frame pacing considered)

544p/Default- Only two songs hold FPS outside of the Forest Stadium: "Mashiro's World" and "Innocent Blue". "Jumping!" is pretty close to a locked 30FPS. The rest of the songs have parts that see sustained periods of sub-30FPS or have their framerate tank once the Miracle Fever Time is activated

544p/Maximum
- 20 of the 22 TV Edits are now locked to 30FPS. "Kotoba Sagashitai" can still dip on Tenku Tower and "Tesaguri Club Song" can still dip on the Forest Stadium

Steps to editing the eboot ON A MAIDUMP/VITAMIN VERSION:

1) Open the game's decrypted eboot.bin in a Hex Editor (HxD, PSPad)
2) Jump to these eight offsets and replace the string of values on the left to the ones on the right:
1) 159F90 - 5FF43472 -> 5FF47072
2) 159F98 - 5FF4CC73 -> 5FF40873
3) 15AF8E - 5FF43472 -> 5FF47072
4) 15AF96 - 5FF4CC74 -> 5FF40874
5) 15E40A - 5FF43473 -> 5FF47073
6) 15E40E- 5FF4CC7E -> 5FF4087E
7) 15E7A4 - 5FF43477 -> 5FF47077
8) 15E7A8- 5FF4CC7E -> 5FF4087E

If you are trying to edit AN ENCRYPTED (Cart/PSN/NoNpDRM) VERSION, you will need to subtract 1000 to the offsets from a Maidump version (I've already done so for these offsets). (Follow TheRadziu's tutorial under "Eboot modding and/or running 3.65+ games on 3.60 and 3.65". The new offsets are: (Remember to add the first 8 bytes from the self_auth.bin to the files after they've been ran through make_fself.exe at offset 80)

1) 157F90 - 5FF43472 -> 5FF47072
2) 158F98 - 5FF4CC73 -> 5FF40873
3) 159F8E - 5FF43472 -> 5FF47072
4) 159F96 - 5FF4CC74 -> 5FF40874
5) 15D40A - 5FF43473 -> 5FF47073
6) 15D40E - 5FF4CC7E -> 5FF4087E
7) 15D7A4 - 5FF43477 -> 5FF47077
8) 15D7A8 - 5FF4CC7E -> 5FF4087E

"Priceless"...................Setting the Resolution to 480p on the Vita fixes many FPS issues with dynasty warrior and its clones, and a bunch of other games, you can even notice an improvement in spiderman, oh and Need for Speed MW (but that game is boring, the music is awful lol.

What I wanted to ask, but rather, have you ever though about lowering the resolution, just a tiny bit, nothing like, nasty. (Or, I don't know but, do some games have periodic sequences when they force higher resolutions, like, this old ps1 game thunder force V, had high resolution looking text print out, but the game looked normal, or just clever design, just to use comparison).

I did think about bringing it to something like 90% or 95% of 544p, but I just haven't tested it, yet, partly because I don't mind keeping VSHMenu/oclockvita maxed out and having a couple of dips, but I will try out just to see how it works out
