Often isn't the same as always. I know you are still in ummm im not sure what you englanders call it but some form of school right? Hit the books a bit harder. And i never said i was a fanboy.

You didn't say you were a fan boy, you showed you were a fan boy. And the term PC is what is usually used to discern computers built to run OS X by Apple and computers built to run Windows by another manufacturer. It may not be the technical definition, but that is how it fits into common vernacular.

And how is it that as soon as I show any signs of intelligence you automatically jump to the conclusion that I am a nerd with clammy hands getting worked up over some worthless forum post? I was simply stating that you were being retarded and posting worthless shit in a thread that is only looking for simple answers.[/off-topic]

Are you looking for something that is as powerful as a regular desktop and easily upgradeable, or just functionality in a tiny form factor? If desktop performance isn't a top priority and neither is upgrade ability, then a UMPC with a monitor port would be perfect for you. *cough*OQO*cough-cough* Otherwise, mini-ATX would be ideal.

i didn't show you anything. that's how you perceived it. nice job on bolding a word you decided to use to impress the 12 year old's here. it IS not the technical definition so why are you trying to convince me it is? but that wasn't even what this was about cause that child said a pc is not a mac. then you almost verbatim said what the wiki said. which was confirming my point. you show no signs of intelligence by the way. i know you are getting worked up because you tried to prove me wrong. you obviously care about this worthless forum post. if you don't then quit posting.

I didn't try to convince you anything was a technical definition. The term PC is part of modern slang to differentiate between a Windows computer and a Mac computer, that is why it is used. I didn't bold a word to impress anybody, I made the word bold so you would not do exactly what you are doing now and twist my words around. I was not disproving your point only explaining why he said PC meant Windows computer. I didn't try to prove anyone wrong, only elaborate on sinkhead's original point.

I'm just so tired of useless BS that adds nothing to the thread. Would it really have killed you to post something useful and help him out? If not then why didn't you?
Is your life really so sad and pathetic that you need to come on here and just flame random people and post useless bullshit in a thread you clearly care nothing about?

[on-topic]If you have your heart set on Mac, which I don't think you do, but w/e, you could always get a Mac mini. Very tiny, very functional (as far as Little Macs go). :-P

I believe the question was "Mini PC. Good idea or bad idea?"

A question was asked and I gave my honest answer. You are the one posting useless bullshit. Look at what you did to this thread. Terrible. It's people like you that make this site shit. Just quit posting dude. You are worthless.

Honestly, how old are you? I'm not going to even dignify that with a real response. Just that simple question. Actually, don't even bother answering.

Mini ITX and Pico ITX boards are very good for (ultra)small form factor, dedicated PCs, like media centres, or office computers for example. If all you need is basic Web, some document editing, picture/movie viewing, and a media player, then a mini ITX PC would suit you fine. They are really small and you can fit a whole Windows XP machine inside an original Gameboy casing (tried and proven). Also worthy of mention is the virtually nonexistent power consumption, and fanless CPUs: bliss. But if you want gaming or video/music/picture editing, a standard ATX board would be better, because it would enable you easier upgrading. Small form factor PCs are tricky either way, though, because most of the best (or "best value for money") hardware won't fit onto a tiny board or inside a tiny casing of a miniPC.
QFT.

But OP's posts says (or indirectly saying) that he'll be using it as a usual pc. But an informative post none the less.
