Wait, 1.10? Notch, don't you know maths?
He has already released 1.1 ages ago, so it needs to be 1.10
1.10 would follow 1.09, not 1.9.
So after this, the only significant increment left is 2.0 beta.
Actually, release numbers are anything you want them to be.
I could release software as version ant, bat, cat, dog, elephant, fox if I wanted to.

I don't think he is doing the releases according to decimals..

Actually, he is MOST DEFINITELY working with decimals since no matter what he calls it, 1.10 still uses a decimal.

Just he isn't using them properly. I wasn't complaining I was making a joke so don't be so serious guys.

2.0 beta will be retail, that's why he didn't use it

So... do Villages work now? Any quests around?

Also, a nice question:
If I've spawned a world in 1.8 without NPCs, snow golems, ice biome et al, do I need to create a new world, or stuff will get added to my old world?

Kthx

Snow biomes aren't even back. Notch lied. :C They better be in when 1.9 is actually released, or I'll be pissed.

@raul: NPCs were just started yesterday, so all they do is walk around. They look like a weird version of Bert from Sesame Street. XD

You need to go to undiscovered places where the new stuff is generated in.
