I was using an old M3 Mini till recently, now i got a DSTWO and want to use the save games from there.

They are in the .dat format (257kb).

I tried two things:

1) Simply copy the save games from \NDSSAVE\.dat
2) use http://www.shunyweb.info/convert.php to convert from m3 dat to supercard sav

alternatively i tried to

1) use the m3 game manager, click on the game rom, the save manager opens - click on read of the save game and copy it
2) use the same step as above

I made sure that i use the correct NDS roms (same region, same group) - but they are simply not recognized (i could not copy over my old roms because the m3 gamemanger patches them and the DSTWO cannot read it)
when i start up a game - it only offers to save a game.

Any ideas?

I think you just need to convert them to a RAW format. Not 100%, but I'm sure most newer generation flash carts simply use a raw format. If not, then try and convert the raw save to a different file.

But yeah, use shuny. All that other stuff is really old, and probably converting it to the saves that were meant to be used with Solt-2 Supercards.
