Microsoft's Forza Horizon 4 is headed to Steam

header.jpg

Microsoft is continuing its trend of playing nice with Steam's storefront, as they will be bringing yet another one of their titles to the platform. On March 9th, Forza Horizon 4 will be available for purchase on Steam, and will feature cross-play with those on Xbox or Windows. The game's two expansions--Fortune Island and LEGO Speed Champions--and car packs will also be buyable as well.

Not fun fact: this game only works on two PC versions. None of them being the most recent. I decided imma play the game before realizing this yesterday.

neat, i hope that this helps more people get into the game, although as someone who has over a year of casual playtime in this game, unless you buy EVERYTHING, the vanilla game is going to wear out very quickly.

A former N exclusive I can think of that is now on Steam is The Wonderful 101.
That one is published by PlatinumGames themselves, though it does have some development done by Nintendo. However, what I was looking for are the Nintendo published games, which have yet to appear outside of their own consoles.

i doubt this game will run on a "barebones basic emulator", and knowing how online dependent the game is, i doubt it'll work all too well
Both Wine an exelent dx12 wrapper built on the Vkd3d libaries it's not a "barebones basic emulator" and it handles games pretty great with minimal performance impact. Also Wine Is Not an Emulator
