Hacking microSD problem

Hey all.

My Sandisk 1gb microSD has buggered up. It can't be detected on computer at all (even using PC file inspector program) and can't be formatted via the PC, and gives a white screen on the DS.

It stuffed up after I wasn't paying attention, and while trying to pull out the Supercard Lite, I accidently pulled out the microSD instead, very roughly...
I think it may be scratched or sumthing, but by inspection, it seems to be fine.

Also, when it is plugged into the computer, it can't be detected, but it heats up, very rapidly.....

Can somebody give me some advice, before I go searching for another memory card?

Sounds like you rooted it. Sorry I can't be more helpful. Does it have a warranty? Maybe you could send it back for a replacement.

You could set your card reader in usb 1.1 mode, Then try a dos format command and format it that way?

My only recommendation is try it on as many SD readers as possible.
My GF had her card go crazy, & for the hell of it I tried it on all my
friends card readers, PDA’s, camera’s even the Walmart card reader.
Then my friends Palm had no problem reading & formatting it, &
now it works fine.
