I barely have any space left on my MicroSD card, probably around 20 MB. Also 2GB is enough. I just take some games off my MicroSD card and store them on my computer if I want to play them again.

2 Gigabytes is good, I keep all my save files on my DS and transfer games when I feel like playing them.
Free space doesn't really matter except you need save files. Make sure you trim your games for more space

Okay, first of all it's not the CycloDS Extreme, it's called the CycloDS Evolution.
Saying "Extreme" is sort of taboo here because it reminds us all of the DS-Extreme, the worst flash card that ever existed.

On topic: You don't need 500 MB to keep it running smoothly. I'd say 50-100 MB is enough for all your saves (512KB each) and real-time saves (which take up a whopping 5MB each), and to keep your CycloDS running smoothly. If you experience any lag however, most probably when you enter the in-game menu, then that means it's time to clean out your MicroSD.

Daah,
I didn't know any of this lol
tongue.gif

i have CycloDS Evo + 4 gb sdhc and i have under 5mb left ^.^
Everything seems to run fine however,
as i already have save files for all my games
the only noticeable difference is that whenever it starts a little message pops up saying i should free up some space.
But yeah, everything seems to be fine [:

I haven't been gaming for such a long time. Been mostly busy with sleep, hardware tinkering and checking GBAtemp frequently.

@Maximumbeans, Indeed. I've been working on getting this Infecutus chip to work on my PS2. But after soldering, I realised that a plastic piece was missing from the power ribbon cable to the power and eject buttons.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Now I could go with soldering the contacts from the cable to the connector on the mobo, but doesn't sound like a good permanent solution.
