Hacking Mic not working after downgrade

Hey every one I just downgraded my friends Wii from 4.0u to install HBC cIOS 36 r10 and Usb loader and backup launcher gamma, I now noticed when playing Guitar Hero wold tour the the mic that is USB does not get recognized anymore. Does this mean I need to update back to 4.0u
