One of the biggest features in the Big Boss's latest outing, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, was 4-player co-op, available for a majority of the game. While an exciting new addition to Metal Gear Solid, it seems like without any online available (Peace Walker only allowed local multiplayer), co-op never got the credit it deserved. However, in the upcoming Metal Gear Solid HD Collection, it seems the Big Boss and friends will be able to take the fight online.
Hideo Kojima, famed Metal Gear Solid creator, announced on Twitter today that Peace Walker would support 4-player online co-op for the PS3 and Xbox 360, providing this image to show it off.
Kojima also said the game will run at a full 60 FPS and each character's dialogue in co-op can be seen during load screens.
The HD Collection will come out later this year with MGS2: Substance, MGS3: Subsistence, and Peace Walker.[/p]
