OP
HI,

I would like to know if the metroid prime 3 trick works with super maio galaxy, I mean I do not want the duplicate channels so ...

I should cut the power à 30% of the full update right ?

THanks

Yes it does work, but please make sure you have the latest Wii firmware (3.1) before doing so. If you don't, there is a very high chance of a semi-brick occuring, where you can't access your settings.

10-15% does the trick.

To play Metroid without updating, thus bricking your Wii. Super Mario Galaxy has this problem too. Since both games come with updates.

It's a firmware update trick for players who don't want to wait untill a game is released in their own region. They download a NTSC game for example but their Wii is PAL. Normally when you run an update that is not from your own region, it can brick your wii. But when you turn off the wii when the update is at about 15% or so, it will not brick the wii and the game will run. This trick was first used with the update on the Metroid Prime 3 disc.
