Among a bunch of games and dates we already know about is the comfirmation that the European release of "Metroid Prime Trilogy" will make release this year. Only one week extra than North American gamers (which is August 24th), those in Europe can expect to get this meaty package (well if you don't already own them or you long for Wiimote controls for MP1 & 2) on September 4th.

Metroid Prime Trilogy, for those who don't know, combines the "New Play Control" versions of the first two excellent Gamecube Games along with the the 3rd game which was released for the Wii two years ago, all on one disc.

Would this game sell in Dual-Layer discs like Brawl or can they fit it all in 4.37GB?

I don't think that even if they really cleverly integrated the three games that they could fit them all on a single layer disk. Both of the Gamecube ones are well over a gig each and the scrubbed iso of Corruption is still over 4 gigs. They'd have to do some really serious cutting of some features and be amazingly efficient. Probably more cost-effective to just go Dual Layer.

VGBoxart is a site where users post fake box arts. [IMG]

    EDIT: Oops, too late.
