Hi, I just picked up a copy of Metroid Prime Trilogy from Gamestop today, when I tried to run it, it said "You need to update your wii to play this" Since my wii is hacked, I knew better, so I burned the game to my external hard drive, and tried running it through Wiiflow, I got to the Trilogy menu, and selected the first Metroid Prime, it said "Loading" then I got a green screen on the top half of the screen, and it went to the wii menu like I was just starting up my wii, so I tried the other two, they both did the same thing.

Any idea how to fix this? Preferably one that doesn't involve me updating. Thanks.

Edit: Erm, my bad for not thoroughly searching before posting >.

Run the retail disc through a backuploading program like Gx or NeoGamma and you should be fine.
Or you can use the alt dol method to play the individual games from USB, but there are issues like being unable to select difficulty.
If you do a quick search on here, there will be more detailed instructions for Metroid Prime and alt dol.
