Hacking Metroid Prime Trilogy Dual Layer Disc

Well, since I'm reading everyone trying to make it load on a DVD5...I'm wondering if it works fine on just a dual layer disc?

Any specific brands recommended?

Also, does it work with cIOSCORP?

You don't need to use alt dols when running from a disc. You can fix the problem you're having by downloading IOS Patcher (it should be in the download section). Drag the ISO into the .exe file then type "249" when prompted. Burn the game again and you should be able to get past the menu screen.

Ok, so just get the newest cIOS and install that and use gamma?

So, with cIOSCORP, it freezes at the screen? Ok. I'll keep that in mind when I go to burn it. By the way, how'd you get your mii as a display pic?

What version is the cIOS 249 with DVD9 support? Or how do i check if i have it?

I'd recommend 13b. It's the latest before the broken 14, and if you have CIOSCorp 3.1-3.3 you can't play Metroid Prime 3 even with the retail disc.

So even if I patched the ISO to 249 (when rev13b is installed), MP3 wouldn't work?

I would say go for 13a, because its compatible with more games.
