It should be standard SDK compstatic compression, just like with the overlays. IIRC it's called something like "BLZ". There should be standard NDS modding tools for this.I just need to find out how to recompress the ARM9 after editing and balancing will be done.
That's interesting, since the first thing the compressed ARM9 binary does is decompress itself.if you inject it back in decompressed the game suffers memory problems when playing online and it crashs due to the ARM9 file being larger than expected
I'm quite sure not all necessary information is known at this point. There are still many undocumented entity types like spawn points / camera sequences / ..., and there are also many undocumented fields in the already known entity types. Even for room rendering itself, many details are still not known. I think making new rooms will have to wait for a while.After I find a solution to this I will be back in an attempt to customise the maps and potentially make new ones where your input will be helpful.
