Hacking Metroid Prime 2 Wii de Asobu English patch?

I've looked around the net, but have only found broken links for the English patch.

That would be an example...Does anyone have the IPS patches for MP2 Dark Echoes? Has an alternate way to patch it been found? Forcing it to NTSC-U doesn't change the language like it does for MP1...

I doubt just forcing NTSC changes the language in 1. Yes, there's another way to patch the .iso, and it will allow other languages as well:

Did you try the patch method from Metroid Prime 1?


Open the .dols in a hexeditor and switch ENGL and JAPN in them. Then repack them into the .iso, patch the game to use IOS249 and burn. I'm just assuming the english patch works in the same way it worked for 1 and that the game is a IOS Reloading game too.

So, open the .iso in WiiScrubber, copy all .dols to HDD. Open them in a hexeditor search for 'JAPN' and switch it with the string for the language you want. And then put the .dols back into the .iso and have fun.

Why do people not want MPT.
I bought it.

Because I like having my games separate. Not to mention it doesn't work with USB, and I have all of my games with USB. (No disk noise, and faster loading
