I doubt just forcing NTSC changes the language in 1. Yes, there's another way to patch the .iso, and it will allow other languages as well:

Open the .dols in a hexeditor and switch ENGL and JAPN in them. Then repack them into the .iso, patch the game to use IOS249 and burn. I'm just assuming the english patch works in the same way it worked for 1 and that the game is a IOS Reloading game too.

So, open the .iso in WiiScrubber, copy all .dols to HDD. Open them in a hexeditor search for 'JAPN' and switch it with the string for the language you want. And then put the .dols back into the .iso and have fun.

Because I like having my games separate. Not to mention it doesn't work with USB, and I have all of my games with USB. (No disk noise, and faster loading
