I love metal, metal got me through meh breakups, exams, and usually any other stressfull time.
the best kind has got to be the 80's kind, black sabbath, metallica, blue oyster cult, danzig(maybe), manowar, iron maiden and some tenacious D for added measure..(the main bands i listen too)

yeah black sabboth and iron maiden are class although i listen to more modern stuff like cradle of filth, children of bodom, arch enemy etc.

Nope but I attended a concert 2 weeks ago and they sang 2 new songs... they weren't too bad but I still prefer the well known ones such as orion, one, 4 horsemen, seek and destroy, the unforgiven....

I heard that the new album is expected for december, surely for christmas

i would have to go with Dragonforce, Bullet for my Valentine, and Bleeding Through to be my top fav metal bands. Of course I listen to the staples: Cooper, Maiden, Metallica, Kiss, Yngwie, etc.

Recently I have gotten into The Human Abstract. They are technically labeled as Math Metal/Mathcore but I dont have much use in labeling...to me it is just great music.

bullet for my valentine failed 2 days before their concert because of tonsils

that sux on your part. I just saw BfmV two months ago and it was well worth it. Also, they played a new song that is from their "supposed" October album...it make me want it even more than i did before.

He said he was playing in a Symphonic-metal band, and give his website.
I Listened to his album and I liked the last one a lot.

Actualy, that's the only Metal I know
They are on google, so it's easy to find.
(and I like their website design. It make me think about Korean RPG

I listen to masterplan, sonata arctica, some symphony X

NO SCREAMO CRAP!!
i dont have a thing against emo's (but then again im all about live and let live) but i just cant stand emo music.
I love the fun songs like most Panic!(WHY THE F*CK DO THEY HAVE AN EXCLAMATION IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NAME???) at the disco songs and dance dance by fallout boy.
the rest I HATE. I have a special grudge towards MCR because they have this one song that starts off brilliant but they just ruin what couldve been a classic by queens standards (welcome to the black parade)

My taste in music varies from time to time. When im really stressed i listen usually to heavy metal and power metal like skid row, iron maiden, megadeath. anything fast and thrashy. When im ok, i listen70's/80's rock and metal like black sabbath, cream, deep purple etc.. the classics.
When im bored or tired i dont listen so much to metal. i listen to some of LP's more relaxed songs, some white stripes, a dash of jamiroqau. heck, even jack johnson is great to me when im like that.i
