Totally,i loved the wii version with all the metal slug games on(all the arcade metal slug games that is).

I hope they keep it the same difficulty as the past games.

I frikking love those games and I still play them till today.
I hope the DS version will be awesome and not as shit as the GBA version.

Well Metal Slug Advance was mediocre, as was Mobile Impact, Metal Slug 3D sucked balls plus the fact that SNK are not the same SNK that did so many classics has made me wary of this game.

Steel Commando looks a lot better to me, though its a shameless rip off.

Yep, same with the GBA game. There was also HP in Metal Slug 1st & 2nd mission on the NGPC, didn't ruin the game but then the Mission series was less linear but imo the best of all MG games.

I loved it for the challenge. I hope they have the option of turning off the HP bar. I'm pretty sure even without the HP bar, we'll still have infinite continues since it's not in the arcade.

The NGPC games were made by old classic SNK.. Metal Slug 4 was bad.. but 5 was kinda good.. never played but I've heard that MS6 was not bad either.. I have some hight hopes for this one..

I really did wish that that this game would have been Metal Slug 3rd Mission, I think the main series has run its course and will just be the same game again and again.

1st one was too easy
2nd one was good
3rd one was too long, and very hard
4th one sucked
5th was decent
6th one (Which I haven't played ) looks awesome (Ralf and Clark!!)
and the 7th will probably be interesting....

Uhm, only the screens in which the player is inside the tank show the HP bar

I've been a huge fan of the Metal Slug series ever since I've played the original Metal Slug in the arcade when it was recently released...I recently bought the Metal Slug Anthology for PSP for 10 bucks

Best purchase ever...
Metal Slug 1-3 never get old, they're clearly my favorite sidescrolling shooters of all time (even the Contra series can't stand a chance...)...but everything that came afterwards pretty much sucked ass

Especially Metal Slug 5, which doesn't even have much in common with the other Metal Slug games

So, it's impossible for me to be hyped about MS7...and what about those scrambled downscaled graphics? They can kiss my ass if they're not going to fix that
