    so i tried to find an answer but couldnt so what i wanna know is does metroid zero mission use a battery to save? i thought no gba game had batteries. i recently tried to play my retail metroid zero mission(yes it is retail i bought it at a walmart) when i started it up it told me save file 1-3 were corrupter is that a sighn of a dead battery? damn monster tale game me a sudden urge to replay metroid zero mission

    That mostly depends on the game's save type.

    SRAM save type uses a battery.
    FLASH save type doesn't use a battery. (real pokemon carts use the battery to power the clock instead)

    Metroid zero mission uses SRAM. That means it uses a battery to power the save in the real cart.

    wait are the batteries the same as gameboy batteries cept size? the pins were connected from gb battery to board is it the same way or is dat different

    Solder a new battery the same way or it will not work.
