Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection launches in two volumes on Nintendo Switch next year

Capcom announced today another big collection of classic Mega Man games coming to modern consoles and PC. The Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection will feature ten games originally released on the GBA. It will release in two volumes on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Steam in 2023. The physical release on Switch and PlayStation 4 will include both volumes, possibly meaning they will release the same day. (The two volumes will only be available separately as digital purchases.) This new collection will feature a gallery, a music mode, and the ability to turn on and off a high-resolution filter.

The first volume will feature Mega Man Battle Network, Mega Man Battle Network 2, Mega Man Battle Network 3 Blue, and Mega Man Battle Network 3 White. The second volume will feature Mega Man Battle Network 4 Red Sun, Mega Man Battle Network 4 Blue Moon, Mega Man Battle Network 5 Team ProtoMan, Mega Man Battle Network 5 Team Colonel, Mega Man Battle Network 6 Cybeast Gregar, and Mega Man Battle Network 6 Cybeast Falzar.

Surprised to see so many going in for Star Force. Back on the DS most seemed to write it off as a far inferior cousin to Battle Network but in the absence of something new then might as well.
I know I would go for Starforce 3, but I don't really care about the other two myself. So yeah, surprising me to see this comment as well.

Awesome, Battle Network is my favourite game series.
A shame this won't include the superior versions of 1 and 5 though.
I do hope they add online, but I doubt it. Still getting it, hope there'll be a special edition.

Xbox being left out is really sad. Just means they won't get me to buy it on 3 platforms like I did with all the previous releases. And it's too bad they aren't instead putting the DS release of MMBN5 on there instead. It had improved content, and maps.

Hopefully the PC port isn't the worst one like it was for the Mega Man Zero/ZX collection. Hyped for sure though.
Really? What was wrong with that one?
"also" available in two volumes. retail is one bundle. and size doesnt have anything to do with it
Nope, split. The physical release will more than likely just have both volumes on the disc/cart, so you still have to pick which volume to boot

if they do remake star force games they will likely have their own collection, no way they would put them all in here.

I call bullshit because they were more than willing to put the ZX duology in the same collection as the Zero Collection.
If they can do it with ZX, then they can do it with Star Force.
