So this is 1,000 better than Geek Squad's software Toolbox?

I suggest using the VHD nstead of the ISO.i am trying to get a better screen resolution than 600x800 in mini windows. it is not possible with the ms basic display adapter, so i tried to install the Radeon™ Vega 8 Graphics within mini windows. i have more than 80gb free space on the usb stick. but i get error @Not enough space on disk. what do i do wrong
There are 2 types of Medicat a set of ISOS loaded from VENTOY and a VHD image, the ISOS are Readonly so you need to extract them, modify and recreate them in order to alter them. but the VHD image can be altered from inside booting it and make changes on the running environment.would you please explain what exactly do you mean? how? medicat was installed using exe/bat according to the installation guide
where do i find downloads for .iso or VHD?There are 2 types of Medicat a set of ISOS loaded from VENTOY and a VHD image, the ISOS are Readonly so you need to extract them, modify and recreate them in order to alter them. but the VHD image can be altered from inside booting it and make changes on the running environment.
You can use apps like the free version of NTLite to open the boot.wim file and inject your own drivers into it. Then they will load upon boot. Can someone tell me how to pack my drivers so that Medicat recognizes all components?, not only temporary. I have already created a backup of all the drivers from my computer. Kind regards, Martin.
Hi malyelf,@Jayro
Thanks,I have searched the MediCat USB with a partition tool for boot.wim but couldn't find it, where should it be?
Is the VHD version the solution? Ultimately, yes.
Why is NTFS mandatory? Compatibility for booting the older BIOS-only ISO images. Otherwise they fail. NTFS works among all computers too, so it's not even an issue.
Why was ISO format dropped? No UEFI support.
How to convert Mini_Windows_10.wim to ISO? Rename it to boot.wim, and replace it inside an existing bootable windows 10 ISO.
Yes, I generated it myself. I really love how the hair turned out against the sunset at the skatepark.(also, Jayro, is your current/new avatar AI-generated?)
Probably can, but Mini Windows 10's ini files that start the OS look for it on the root of the mounted Y:\ drive at startup, so make sure you change that if you want it to still auto-launch with Mini Windows 10. Otherwise, yeah... put it wherever you want I guess.Just a really quick question: is there anyway to rename the "start.exe" located in the root of the MediCat/Ventoy partition to something else while fully retaining functionality?
The main issue is that it conflicts with Wine on Linux if you run anything in Wine from within the same root of the MediCat/Ventoy partition through the GUI (this is presumably because the default wine command begins with "start"). Basically, instead of running whatever you clicked on, it just launches the aforementioned start.exe PortableApps launcher.
I don't know what that is, sorry.(And while I'm here, I previously mentioned wanting to try to make a fork of HashCheck Shell extention that re-enables MD4 support in hopes of maybe suggesting its inclusion in the elusive updated version of MediCat to coincide with the release of Half Life 3. I just found out a few ago that one of the current fork maintainers, idrassi, is onboard with the idea of re-enabling MD4 support if not at least for reading existing .MD4 checksum files)
But that lacks SHA256 checksum support which has largely replaced SHA1 checksums for internet downloads nowadays.@Nintendo Maniac I have no problems displaying md4 checksums with the original hashcheck shell extension.
Yeah. I only use it to add an md5 to personal stuff I want to keep when I back it up so it's lack of SHA256 support doesn't really bother me. But yes, I understand why SHA256 can be useful. I just fall back to 7-Zip if I need to verify an SHA256 checksum. But that lacks SHA256 checksum support which has largely replaced SHA1 checksums for internet downloads nowadays.
FYM "Generated it myself"? Did you train a model using your own dataset, or do you just mean you fiddled with prompts until it barfed up the right random collection of mish-mashed pixels?Yes, I generated it myself. I really love how the hair turned out against the sunset at the skatepark.
