Any problem to using exfat instead of NTFS filesystem?
I managed to get password working to access ventoy menu but it then boots into default ventoy menu. Still haven't worked out password needed to boot each iso yet.Nevermind, I'm a dumbass and figured it out.
I deleted the bootpwd line, so it skips the boot password.I managed to get password working to access ventoy menu but it then boots into default ventoy menu. Still haven't worked out password needed to boot each iso yet.
Try remaking the usb, but in Ventoy2Disk use GPT setting instead.Hi, thanks for this awesome tool! I've been using it for a while, way before isos changes..
today using a brand new Aspire A515-54 I was not able to boot from MediCat USB. Boot menu (UEFI) detects it as 'Linpus lite'. I tested it on others machines I have here with the same stick (last MediCat version) and all of then boots normally to MediCat Menu (UEFI and CSM), this particular laptop detects it as 'Linpus lite' and don't boot.
Any thoughts? Thanks!!

I tag the ISOs with [BIOS]_ in the file name, because they need booted in Legacy BIOS mode, not UEFI mode. They won't boot from UEFI.I am curious, I read both in medicat info and ventoy own info, that we are supposedly able to mount non-EFI ISO images.
Yet they all error out for me.
Any hints on what I am doing wrong?
Actually even the [BIOS]_ images within medicat produce the same error.
Does this have to do with the way medicat booted? (as EFI or BIOS)

Had to use the key on the image to enable boot.
Now works
