Hacking Media Player supporting dvd, divx,xvid etc. from every media

Hello everybody,

I just want some clarification about a possible media player which supports original dvd movies, divx etc. from every media.
Not just SD/USB. I'm trying to view an original dvd movie, but cant succeed.

I have installed the files djtaz files according his tutorial. Downgraded to 3.2E and Starfall installed as well.
Installed DVDx as well.
I cant get it working.
I have searched (I dont accept accusation on that, but maybe havent searched enough) but not found something which could solve my problem.

Anybody?

mplayer (dvdlib edition) can play original movies (and quite well, I must add), but I don't think it can load other files from DVD, only from SD... You most likely need different applications for different media.

p5k is right that's the best one, allong with mplayerwii and geexbox, that UE/CE edition has USB bugs....so use geexbox..
also over the network only allows 1 folder stream unlike mplayerwii. so it's either use one or a few, i'd go for mplayerUE or mplayerwii
